		<description>Alexander,

You can set up as many currencies as you need because they are kept in different data sets within the database. You can then set each client record to whatever currency they use so there is no danger of invoicing in the wrong currency.

Again, with GST you can set multiple rates in the program, this is necessary in Europe with all the different VAT rates. I understand the Australia rate is 10% (The lucky Country) but if you are dealing overseas you can set a 0% rate and again default it to the client record so the right GST rate is always charged.

I hope this answers your questions. How it deals with them from a technical point, I have no idea.
I try to avoid conversations with programmers as they tend to draw me in to the dark side.

BTW. The 7 steps in the above post is excellent advice for anyone looking at practice management software. You mentioned remote working - make sure the software uses the mircosoft.net platform and is built with an SQL database.

Cheers

<description>Thanks a lot for your comment Anthony,
do you happen to know how Drive Practice Management deals with different currencies and GST (the Australian equivalent of VAT)?

		<description>Alexander/Jodie,

"Drive Practice Management" from Relate Software is a modern practice management system originally developed for Accountants. It uses Microsoft.net technology and It's a single SQL database for client records so all the information you need is in front of you.

Relate software will provide you with an online demo at your request, you can ask all the questions you need to. Here is their link if you want more information.
