I’m no good at selling myself
January 21st, 2008 by Alexander KohlWhether someone is good in selling or not usually comes from the mindset of what you are trying to achieve.
As long as you are stuck in the: “I have to convince someone to give me money.” it is very unlikely that you will have much success. But when you return to what you really want to achieve, what made you become a health practitioner in the first place, your focus will shift to providing value for your clients. Then the “selling” turns into providing value to others in need and they start asking you for more.
A clear vision helps to reconnect with that original reason why you do what you do.

Are you able to help people?
Are you passionate about what you do?
If not perhaps you are in the wrong profession, if so, then think about it less as ’selling yourself’ and more about providing a service that people genuinely need.
It is your duty as someone who is able to help others to let them know. To keep it to yourself is to do them a disservice. Be positive about what you are offering.
By applying Alexander’s Passionate Training techniques systematically, you will find you will become more confident in sharing your message. I wish you all the best in your chosen field.
Warmly

Thanks for sharing Krishna. It is great to get your input.
Krishna has coached her partner into being a sought after and successful massage practitioner in Noosa, Australia.
Recently, she has started working with other practitioners to help them achieve the same success, so she knows what she is talking about.
